Ann Brandau Murguia
Ann has professional experience in community development work. She worked at CHWC, Inc. from 2003 to 2005, first as Director of Development then as Chief Operating Officer. While there she developed strategies to streamline operations, improve cash flow and improve community organization in CHWC’s service area, managed funding requests as well as compliance with funders’ requests and building requirements. She attended the HOME training in Puerto Rico in 2005. For 3 years prior to that she was the Argentine Community Organizer for El Centro, Inc. She received her MBA from Baker University and is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Kansas. She is a resident of Argentine and an active volunteer in neighborhood activities. Ms. Brandau Murguia also serves as the Commissioner for the 3rd District of the Unified government of Wyandotte County.
Therese M Gardner
Therese served as the Case Management Unit supervisor for the Wyandotte County District Court until she retired in March 2007. She has 18 years of experience in staff supervision. She has a Master Degree in Administration of Justice from Wichita State University and has received computer training in Word, Excel, Access and Outlook. In addition, she is experienced in real estate sales, investment and rehabilitation. She is a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas.
Evelyn is a lifelong resident of East Argentine with a rich knowledge of its history and residents. She was employed in the USD 500 school system and worked in the schools in the Argentine neighborhood. She is retired from USD 500 and is now a very valuable addition to the ANDA staff.
Bill has extensive knowledge of the Argentine neighborhood and served on the Argentine Neighborhood Development Association (ANDA) Board of Directors prior to his acceptance of this position. He is a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas and was employed by the Unified Government for 11 years before joining ANDA.
